Maruti Dzire Facelift: India’s domestic automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch two new facelift cars in the year 2024. The eyes of car enthusiasts are fixed on the facelift version of Maruti’s popular model Dezire. Although Maruti’s Japanese subsidiary Suzuki has already launched the Dezire facelift in Japan, this car has recently been seen on the roads during testing in India. After seeing this, it is being estimated that after the launch of Maruti Dezire facelift car in the market, it will present a tough challenge to Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze. It is also expected that Maruti can launch this new car at the end of the year. The company is going to make major changes in Maruti Dezire after 2016.
Maruti Dezire facelift design
No change is expected in the dimensions of Maruti Dezire facelift. It is based on the platform of Swift facelift hatchback. This sub-compact sedan has been designed like the Swift facelift hatchback. Although the spy shots taken during the test do not reveal much about its design, the new Dzire will get a new set of LED headlight and taillight units, updated bumper and grille, newly designed alloys along with other changes. There is a possibility of getting wheels.
Maruti Dezire facelift engine
The new Z-series 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine can be seen in the Maruti Dezire facelift, which can come with a regular 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission unit. Its engine is capable of generating power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 108 Nm. Currently, Maruti Dezire comes with a 1.2-litre K series petrol engine, which is capable of generating power of 89 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm. This engine is paired with a gearbox in its manual and automatic trims, which gives a range of more than 22 km per litre.
Features in Maruti Dezire Facelift
Changes are also expected to be made in the interior of Maruti Dezire facelift. It may have features like dual-tone theme, new infotainment system taken from the new Swift, digital driver display, 360 degree camera, wireless charging and seat ventilation.
