Representative, Sahebganj On Sunday night, a truck overturned on SH-74 near Dhanaiya Pax warehouse, due to which Bittu Kumar (14), son of Sanjay Rai, resident of Baradih, died on the spot, while two children were injured, after which there was chaos. Soon people gathered in large numbers and were told that Dukhit Rai’s son Golu Kumar (15) and grandson Kunal Kumar (12) were seriously injured in the incident. Both were taken to CHC, from where the doctor gave first aid and referred them to SKMCH.
It was told that at the time of the incident, the three children were returning home after attending the Mahayagya organized at Dhanaiya Pax. Meanwhile, a truck traveling at high speed from Deoria lost control and overturned, in which all three children were buried. Upon receiving the information, the police called for a JCB and took out the three boys, in which Bittu Kumar had died. Police seized the truck and sent the body to SKMCH for post-mortem. Bittu Kumar was alone among his brothers. He has five sisters younger than him. He was a student of ninth class. His father lives in Delhi and works as a mason. There was chaos as soon as the body reached home after post-mortem. The family members were in bad condition, crying. Everyone was trying to console. RJD leader Prithvinath Rai, Mukhiya Maneka Kumari, Mukhiya’s husband Uday Bhagat, ward members Ganaur Paswan, Chandeshwar Rai, Munna Paswan etc. expressed grief over the death of the child.
