Two youths murdered by slitting their throats in Palamu

Rajesh Sao and Sujit Bhuiyan alias Boudha of Semartand village of Chainpur police station area of ​​Palamu district were murdered by slitting their throats on Sunday. Rajesh Sao was murdered at around 7.20 am while Sujit Bhuiyan was murdered at around 8 am. The reason for the incident is said to be a dispute regarding sand lifting. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it to MMCH for post-mortem. Here, after the incident, the relatives of the deceased blocked Koel bridge with the dead body for about an hour. The jam was removed after the assurance of SDPO. According to the information, Rajesh Sao and Sujit Bhuiyan had gone to the banks of Koel river adjacent to Semartand for defecation. In this sequence, the criminals caught Rajesh Saav and slit his throat. Whereas Sujit Bhuiyan ran away and reached Navatoli of Medininagar city on the other side of Koel river. There, after he fell down exhausted, the criminals who were chasing him caught hold of him and stabbed him with a knife in the stomach and arm. After that his throat was slit. It is being told that seven criminals were involved in carrying out the incident. Raja Bhuiyan, younger brother of deceased Sujit Bhuiyan, told that in the year 2019, he had bought a tractor for sand transportation. After which there used to be a dispute regarding sand lifting. The main accused in this incident, Shyama Chaudhary and Rama Chaudhary, always got the tractor seized by the police. Due to which there was discord with him. He told that Sujit and Rajesh used to go to the banks of Koel river every day for defecation. The criminals took advantage of the deserted place in the ambush.

It is said that Rama Chaudhary, the accused in this incident, was shot in the year 2020. Whereas his real brother accused Shyama Choudhary was shot in the year 2022. After treatment, he was again active in illegal sand business. It is feared that this incident has been carried out in retaliation. Devnandan Sao, father of deceased Rajesh Sao, said that his son was murdered as part of a conspiracy. On receiving information about the incident, the family members of Sujit Bhuyan and Rajesh Sao had reached the post-mortem house.

Both the deceased had criminal history. A case is registered against them in Chainpur and Patan police stations. City police station in-charge Devvrat Poddar and Chainpur police station in-charge Sonu Chaudhary said that the incident happened at two places but is linked to one link. The first incident took place on the banks of Koel river in Semartand village of Chainpur police station area, while the second incident took place on the banks of Navatoli Koel of city police station. Research is continuing on the instructions of senior police officials. SDPO Mani Bhushan Prasad said that both the deceased had a previous criminal history. It has been said that their family members will file an FIR against them. Right now the cremation is being conducted by the family members of both of them. After the cremation, an FIR will be lodged by the family members. Police are conducting raids to arrest the criminals.
