Vicious criminal Shahadat Ansari arrested with pistol and 6 live cartridges

Giridih (Mrinal Sinha): Giridih Police has arrested a vicious and notorious criminal who was planning to commit a robbery. The arrested criminal Shahadat Ansari is a resident of Taratand police station area. Police arrested Shahadat Ansari in a raid on Monday (5th February) night from Taratand police station area itself.

A pistol and 6 live cartridges found near Shahadat

Police have recovered a pistol and 6 live cartridges from Shahadat. Giridih SP Deepak Kumar Sharma gave information to this effect. He told that the police had received information that some criminals were planning to carry out a major incident in Taratand area. After which Sadar SDPO Binod Ravani and Taratand police station in-charge were instructed to arrest the criminals.

Shahadat Ansari arrested from Taratand police station area

After this, late in the night the police raided and arrested Shahadat Ansari from Taratand police station area. A country made pistol and 6 live cartridges have been recovered from it. SP told that Shahadat Ansari is a notorious and vicious criminal. He has recently been released from jail. He told that along with Shahadat Ansari, some other criminals were present on the spot, who managed to escape by dodging the police and raids are also being conducted to arrest them.
