Mahanavami is on Wednesday, 17th April. On this day, Kanya Puja can be performed from 06.27 am to 07.51 am. If you want to perform Kanya Puja in the afternoon, then it can be done from 01:30 to 2:55. In Kanya Puja, girls aged between 2 to 10 years are called to their homes and invited for worship and food.
How to perform Kanya Puja during Navratri?
- Start the puja by welcoming the girls, after this wash their feet and make them sit on the seat.
- After taking bath on Navami day, worship Lord Ganesha and Mother Gauri.
- After this, invite 9 girls and one boy for Kanya Puja.
