The matter has reached such a stage that whether Tata’s new Nexon CNG car will be able to compete with Maruti’s powerful Brezza CNG car? Nexon-Brezza CNG variants and price
The Tata Nexon CNG car showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 is expected to come in four variants. These include smart, pure, creative and fearless. Four color options have been given in it, which include Fearless Purple, Flame Red, Calgary White and Daytona Grey. This is a five seater car, in which five people can travel comfortably. It has a boot space of 382 litres. Its ground clearance is 208 mm. It is estimated that its price in ex-showroom could start from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh.
Talking about Maruti Brezza CNG, this car also comes in a total of four variants, which include Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver and Exuberant Blue. Along with this, this car has also been given four color options like Tata Nexon, in which Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Brilliant Silver and Brilliant Blue have been given. This car is also a five seater car like Tata Nexon, in which five people can travel comfortably. Its price starts from Rs 9.29 lakh ex-showroom.
Nexon-Brezza CNG engine
Tata Nexon is given the option of petrol and diesel engines, in which the first one is 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. It is capable of generating 120 PS power and 170 Nm torque. The second 1.5-litre diesel engine has been provided, which generates maximum power of 115 PS and peak torque of 260 Nm. Additionally, this car may come with four transmission options, which may include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and a new 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), while its diesel engine. 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT can be given in it.
At the same time, Maruti Brezza CNG has a 1462 cc engine, which is available with manual transmission. This 1462 cc engine generates maximum power of 86.63 bhp at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 121.5 Nm at 4200 rpm.

The features list in Tata Nexon CNG includes 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch full digital driver display, auto AC, wireless phone charging, ventilated and height adjustable front seats, cruise control and paddle shifters. It also has a 9-speaker JBL sound system with subwoofer and Harman-enhanced AudioWorx. For the safety of passengers, it has been provided with 6 airbags, hill assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a 360-degree camera.
