step 1:

• Make sure Google Play Protect is on.
• Open Google Play Store.
• Tap on the top right side profile icon.
• Then tap on Play Protect and tap on Settings.
• Turn scan apps on and off with Play Protect.

Step 2:

• Check for Android device and security updates.
• You need to install the latest Android update.
• For this you have to go to the settings of the phone.
• Then tap on System at the bottom. Then the OS has to be updated by going to System update.

Step 3:

• Although most system updates and security patches are done automatically, but still you can check.
• Go to the phone’s Settings and then tap on Security.
• If security update is available then tap on Google Security checkup.
• Also check if Google Play system update is available or not. If so, update that too.

Spat 4:

• If there is any app in your phone that you have not downloaded from Google Play Store, then delete it.
• For this you have to go to the settings of your phone.
• Then go to Apps & notifications and go to See all apps.
