This is Kohli’s first Test hundred in the last 40 months. He completed his 100 runs in 241 balls. As soon as Kohli took a single off the second ball of the 139th over, the entire stadium started celebrating. Kohli also celebrated his century by kissing his locket.

With this, Kohli has become the second batsman to score the most centuries against Australia in cricket history. He scored 16 centuries against this team and his journey is still going on. Legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar leads with 20 centuries. Kohli has become the third Indian batsman to score the most Test centuries against Australia.
