Ahmedabad. On the fourth day of the ongoing India-Australia fourth Test in Ahmedabad, Team India has scored 394 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the first innings. Virat Kohli (100 runs) and Akshar Patel (0 runs) are at the crease after lunch.
Kohli has scored a century in Tests after 1205 days, 23 matches and 41 innings. Kohli last scored his 27th Test century against Bangladesh on 23 November 2019. This is his 28th Test century. Now Kohli has 75 international centuries in his name. He has scored 28 in Tests, 46 in ODIs and one century in T20 Internationals.
Shrikar Bharat got out after scoring 44 runs. He was caught by Nathan Lyon at the hands of Peter Handscomb. Bharat shared an 84-run partnership with Kohli. Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja got out after scoring 23 runs. Jadeja shared a 64-run partnership with Kohli on 170 balls.
India finished the innings at 289/3 on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Earlier, Australia scored 480 runs in the first innings.
