MS Dhoni MCC Lifetime Membership: The prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on Wednesday felicitated World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Including four other Indian international cricketers have been honored with ‘Life Membership’. Apart from Dhoni, these players include Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, former Indian women captain Mithali Raj and great women bowler Jhulan Goswami. MCC has made a total of 19 new players from eight test playing countries a part of life membership. Which includes five former players from India and England as well as players from Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies.

Announcing this, MCC said on its website, ‘Five Indian players have been awarded Honorary Life Membership. Jhulan Goswami is the highest wicket-taker in women’s ODIs while Mithali Raj tops the list of highest run-getter with 7,805 runs in 211 innings. It added, “Both MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh were integral parts of the Indian team that won the 2007 ICC Men’s World T20 and the 2011 ICC Men’s World Cup, and Suresh Raina scored over 5,500 runs in ODIs in a career spanning 13 years.” ‘
