66th National School Games – Rajasthan players start well with 2 gold and 2 silver medals, Jaipur News in Hindi

Jaipur . In the 66th National School Games in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the talented players of the schools of Rajasthan have made a grand start by winning two gold and two silver medals for the state in the athletics events. Kavita Dudi of Government Higher Secondary School, Hiravati (Ladnun) in Nagaur district has brought laurels to the state by winning gold medal in 3000 meter racewalk and Neetu Kumari of Government Higher Secondary School, Rajgarh in Churu district has won gold medal in discus throw event. On the other hand, in two other athletics events, the players of the state have made Rajasthan proud by winning two silver medals in the first two days of the National School Games.

Education Minister Dr. B.K. D. Kalla, Minister of State for Education Zahida Khan and Government Secretary of School Education Department Naveen Jain expressed happiness and congratulated the players who won gold and silver medals.

It is noteworthy that in the 66th National School Games, different teams of School Education Department of Rajasthan are participating in various sports events being organized simultaneously in Bhopal, Gwalior and New Delhi. Chief Day Mission (Manager) of the Rajasthan team in Bhopal, Anil Vyas said that 22 school players from the state are participating in boxing and 41 players in athletics.
Vyas said that apart from the golden success of Nagaur’s Kavita Dudi and Churu’s Neetu in the first two days, 1500 meters race and 4 x 100 meters relay teams have won silver medals by standing second. He told that Naresh Chopra of Kiran Bal Bharti Higher Secondary School, Hingonia, Jobner in Jaipur has won the silver medal in 1500 meters race. And in boys’ 4x100m relay race, Parmeshwar Lal (Government Higher Secondary School, Chhoti Chhapri, Molasar, Nagaur), Tej Singh Rathore (Government Higher Secondary School, Keshavpura, Kota), Rajpal Jat (Shri Gandhi Higher Secondary School, Gulabpura, Bhilwara) and Saurabh Shivam Singh (Guru Nanak Khalsa Higher Secondary School, Sri Ganganagar) have won the second silver medal for Rajasthan.
