Los Angeles. Supermodel Gigi Hadid, who is of Palestinian descent, condemned the attacks on Israel by Hamas and commented on the matter on her Instagram account, insisting that she would take the side of the innocent.

In her statement, Gigi shared that her thoughts and condolences are with all those who have been victims of this needless attack, reports aceshowbiz.com.

She added: “I have deep sympathy and grief for the Palestinian conflict and life under occupation, a responsibility I carry with me daily. I also feel a responsibility to make this clear to my Jewish friends, as That I have done before: Although I have hopes and dreams for the Palestinians, none of them include harming a Jewish person.’

The 28-year-old model condemned the Hamas attacks, saying: “Killing innocent people is not in line with the ‘Free Palestine’ movement and will not benefit them.”

He added, “This idea has fueled a long cycle of back-and-forth and helped perpetuate the false idea that being pro-Palestine = being anti-Semitic.”

Gigi expressed her condolences, “To my loved ones, both Palestinian and Jewish, I am sending you my love and strength, whoever and wherever you are.”

She concluded her message by saying: “There are so many complex, individual and valid feelings, but every human being deserves basic rights, treatment and protection, no matter their nationality, religion, ethnicity or where they were born. I know That my words will never be enough or heal the deep wounds of many, but I always pray for the safety of innocent people.”

Gigi’s post came at a time when her best friend Kylie Jenner faced criticism over her support for Israel in an Instagram Story, which she later deleted.
