12th Fail will be screened on 20 thousand screens in China: Vikrant Massey

The film, starring Vikrant Massey, became a major success at the domestic box office. Now the film is ready for its wide release in China. Recently, during an interview, the lead actor of the film made a big revelation regarding its release in China.

Actor Vikrant Massey, who plays the lead role in ’12th Fail’, shared that the film will be released on 20 thousand screens in China. The actor said, ‘It has been in the works for a few months, but finally the news is out and everyone knows that the film is releasing in China. There is a huge demand for Hindi cinema or Indian cinema in China. 12th Fail has got more than 20 thousand screens in China.

When asked if Vikrant will be visiting China to promote the film, the actor said, ‘It is too early to talk about it, but I am really excited because something like this has happened after a long time.’ ’12th Fail’ did not have a wide release in India and managed to earn Rs 56.75 crore in the domestic market. On its opening day, the film had approximately 1,347 shows across India. Given its modest budget, it was seen as a major success for the film.

Shortly after its release, ’12th Fail’ streamed on the streaming platform Hotstar and received a lot of appreciation on social media. Even after 25 weeks of its release, the film is still running in theaters in India. After increasing tension between India and China, in the year 2020, China banned the release of Indian films. However, the ban was lifted in 2022 with the Chinese release of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Chhichhore’.
