London. World Cup runners-up France beat Holland 4-0 in their opening match of Euro 2024 qualifiers, while Belgium thrashed Sweden 3-0 thanks to a Romelu Lukaku hat-trick.
Five of Holland’s players were sent home on the eve of the match after contracting the flu virus.
