Sneh Rana, who has played a total of 47 international matches including 24 T20 Internationals, has been included in the Indian team. Pooja Vastrakar has been ruled out of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa due to upper respiratory tract infection. Sneh Rana will be a part of India’s final fifteen as his replacement.
The Indian team has to play the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 semi-final today i.e. on 23 February 2023 against a strong and defending champion team like Australia. Pooja Vastrakar was looking in rhythm, but now she is out of the tournament. The Event Technical Committee of the ICC has approved the replacement of Pooja Vastrakar. In such a situation, Sneh Rana has become eligible to play in the semi-final match.
