AAP leader and minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that it can be said that the Aam Aadmi Party is back to its 2011-2012 mode. Demonstrations were also held abroad
Aam Aadmi Party leaders have said that along with Delhi, Indians also protested in other states of the country and abroad. The AAP leader said that they demonstrated at many places including Harvard Square in Boston, Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, outside the Indian Embassy in Washington, New York Times Square and Toronto, London and Melbourne. AAP raised questions on Kejriwal’s arrest
While addressing the protesters at Jantar Mantar, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that Arvind Kejriwal was honest and he will remain honest. He said that recently the Supreme Court has granted him bail in the alleged scam in Delhi Excise Policy. Sanjay Singh raised questions on ED’s arrest. Sanjay Singh claimed that out of 456 witnesses of the CBI and ED investigating the case, only four have taken the name of the AAP national convenor. He also said that people know very well the circumstances under which these witnesses have taken the name of Kejriwal.
Aam Aadmi Party made this appeal to the people
During the fast, Aam Aadmi Party leaders appealed to the people to oust BJP from power and ensure victory of INDIA alliance. Delhi minister Atishi, who was involved in the fast, accused BJP of being a dictator. During this, he also claimed that AAP’s one-day fast will give sleepless nights to BJP. He claimed that there is anger among the people due to the arrest of CM Kejriwal and this will prove to be the last nail in the coffin of BJP.
