Jharkhand Weather Alert: The highest temperature in Jharkhand has reached 43.6 degrees. During the last 24 hours, extreme heat was felt at some places in the state. Light rain also occurred at some places. Due to the impact of Western Disturbance, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of rain and thunderstorms with strong winds in many districts including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.

People felt intense heat in Jharkhand: Meteorologist

Meteorologist Satish Chandra Mandal of Ranchi based weather center told Prabhat Khabar (prabhatkhabar.in) that intense heat is being felt in Jharkhand. People also had to face heat wave at some places, especially in the southern part of Jharkhand. Talking about the weather of Jharkhand for the next 5 days, the sky will be cloudy. Strong winds will blow at some places. Its speed can be 30 to 40 kilometers.

Winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km, it may rain

Meteorologist Satish Mandal also said that on Sunday (April 7), winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers. Along with this, there is also a possibility of light rain and thunderstorm at some places. He said that there will be rain and thunder at some places on April 8. Winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km. There is also a possibility of lightning at some places.

There will be thunderstorms at many places on April 9: IMD

Similarly, on April 9, there will be thunderstorms at some places in the northern part of Jharkhand. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms amid strong winds. If we talk about the weather of Jharkhand on April 10, there will be thunderstorms at some places in the northern and central parts of the state. Strong winds will blow and there may be thunderstorms along with rain. Similar situation will prevail on 11th April also. From April 8 to April 11, the wind speed is expected to be between 30 to 40 kilometers.

Weather will change in more than half a dozen districts including Ranchi

On Sunday (April 7), strong winds will blow in the capital Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan. There is a possibility of thunderstorm along with rain at some places in these districts. He said that after this, the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius during the next two days. After this, there is no possibility of any major change in the temperature for 3 days. Satish Chandra Mandal said that on April 12, there may be light rainfall at isolated places in the southern part of the state.
