The Indian board has prepared to spend Rs 500 crore to convert the infrastructure of all 10 stadiums into world class facilities. Under this, each stadium will get Rs 50-50 crore for improvement. Let us tell you that all the matches of the World Cup are to be held in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamshala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata. While apart from Hyderabad, practice matches will be played in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram from 29 September to 3 October.

New LED lights will be installed in Wankhede

All stadiums have different needs, which need improvement. The semi-finals and 4 league matches will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. New LED lights will be installed here along with the outfield. Along with this, corporate boxes and toilets will also be built here. New LED lights will be installed at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Along with this, 2 new pitches of red soil will also be made here. India vs Australia Test match was to be held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, but there was no outfield preparation due to which the match was shifted to Indore. After that IPL matches were played here. Now this stadium is ready to host 5 matches of the World Cup. Here India will play its match against New Zealand. Here 6 thousand meter pipeline has been installed for better drainage system.
