AAI Election Result|Union Minister for Tribal Affairs cum Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Arjun Munda has once again been elected President of Archery Association of India. Arjun Munda has been elected unopposed. Captain Abhimanyu has been elected Senior Vice President of the Association. He has also been elected unopposed. Eight vice-presidents, one honorary general secretary, seven joint secretaries and one honorary treasurer have also been selected. Honorary General Secretary and Honorary Treasurer have also been elected unopposed. Virendra Sachdeva has been elected Honorary General Secretary and Dr. Joris Paulus Ummacheril has been elected Honorary Treasurer. The names of the eight vice-presidents elected are Amarinder Singh Bajaj, Avnish Kumar Awasthi, Cherukuri Satyanarayana, Chetan Kavlekar, Eega Sanjeeva Reddy, Kailash Murarka, Dr Krishna Bahadur Gurung, Krishna Ghatak and Syed Ali Hussaini alias Shihan Hussaini. 58 members exercised their franchise for the post of Vice President. Kailash Murarka and Dr. Krishna Bahadur Gurung got the maximum 56-56 votes. Cherukuri Satyanarayana, Eega Sanjeeva Reddy got 55-55 votes, Chetan Kewalkar and Krishna Ghatak got 54-54 votes. Syed Ali Hussaini alias Shihan Hussaini got 52 votes, Amarinder Singh Bajaj got 49 votes and Avnish Kumar Awasthi got 10 votes.
