Mumbai and Gujarat match today
Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians are going to face Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. In his second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Arjun took the first wicket of IPL. Mumbai won in this match. Arjun played his third match against Punjab Kings, but here Arjun gave away 31 runs in one over. Mumbai lost this match.
Arjun will not get a chance in playing XI
Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has predicted whether Arjun will be a part of the playing XI when Mumbai face Gujarat on Tuesday. Chopra said on his YouTube channel that perhaps Arjun could be dropped from the playing XI. There are some concerns in bowling. You’ll see Jason Behrendorff or Riley Meredith with Jofra Archer. I am not 100 per cent sure whether Arjun Tendulkar will play or not. To be honest, some weaknesses have been seen in bowling.
Akash Chopra praised Piyush Chawla
Despite criticizing Mumbai’s bowling department, Chopra had special praise for veteran spinner Piyush Chawla. Chawla is currently Mumbai’s highest wicket-taker with nine wickets. Chopra said that Piyush Chawla has performed very well, but he did not bowl his full quota of overs. Someone said that he is injured. He got injured in the 15th over and under no circumstances the spin should have come after that. He should have finished his over before that.
