Arvind Kejriwal: After the hearing in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was brought to the ED office. While coming out after appearing in the court, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, this is a political conspiracy, the public will answer for it. While seeking remand, ED said that data has been extracted from a mobile phone and it is being analyzed. However, the data of other 4 digital devices seized during the search at the premises of Arvind Kejriwal on 21.03.2024 is yet to be extracted as he has sought time to provide the password/login credentials after consulting his lawyers . It is known that AAP’s national coordinator was arrested by ED in this case on March 21 and later the court sent him to custody till March 28.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself gave arguments during the hearing of the excise policy case in the court and said that a false picture of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) being corrupt is being presented before the country. AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal gave arguments after taking permission from the court despite the presence of his lawyers. Kejriwal said in his argument, four witnesses have taken my name in the excise policy case. Are four statements enough to arrest a Chief Minister?

ED had asked for custody for seven days

Arvind Kejriwal was presented in the court today by ED after the expiry of his custody period. The ED requested the court for seven days’ custody and said that there is a need to confront them face to face with some people related to the case. ED said that Chief Minister Kejriwal is procrastinating in replying and is not disclosing the passwords of his digital devices.

Kejriwal made serious allegations against BJP

Arvind Kejriwal alleged that Sharat Chandra Reddy donated Rs 55 crore to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The Chief Minister said, I have evidence of this. The transaction has been proved because he (Reddy) had donated the money after his arrest. Kejriwal said that a false picture of Aam Aadmi Party being corrupt has been presented before the country and he is ready to face the ED investigation.

Kejriwal arrested by ED on March 21 in liquor scam case

It is noteworthy that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on the night of March 21 in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. On March 22, the ED presented Kejriwal in the local court, from where the court sent him to ED custody for questioning till March 28.
