Pakistan was out of the semi-final race due to this defeat, while Japan reached the last four by finishing in fourth place. India will take on Japan in the semi-finals on Friday, while the first semi-final will be between second-placed Malaysia and third-placed South Korea.
In the Asian Champions Trophy, the Indian hockey team remains at the top of the points table after winning four out of five matches. The Indian team has a total of 13 points. While the Malaysian team has also won 4 out of 5 matches and reached the second position with 12 points.

Malaysia and Korea will face each other in the first semi-final on August 11, while India and Japan will clash in the second semi-final on the same day. The final match will be played on 12 August.
