India will win the Asian Champions Trophy 2023: Indian men’s hockey team Asian Champions Trophy 2023 has taken the title of India defeated Malaysia 4-3 in a thrilling final match played at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai. With this victory, India won the Asian Champions Trophy title for the fourth time.
Jugraj Singh scored the first goal for India in the 9th minute. After that, Harmanpreet Singh scored in the 45th minute, Gurjant Singh also scored in the 45th minute and Akashdeep Singh scored a goal in the 56th minute to make India the champion. On the other hand, Abu Kamal Azrai (14th), Rahim Raji (18th), Mohammad Aminuddin (28th) scored goals from Malaysia.
In the match, the Indian team was trailing 3-1 at one time, after which in the third quarter, Team India made a tremendous comeback by scoring two goals within a minute. The Indian team won the match 4-3 by scoring the fourth goal in the fourth quarter and captured the Asian Champions Trophy title for the fourth time.

Malaysia’s team was ahead 3-1 till half time, but India made a tremendous comeback in the third quarter. Indian team scored two goals within a minute to make the score 3-3. After half-time, India continued the counter attack. Its fruit was found in the 45th minute of the match, when Malaysia fouled inside its box on India’s counter attack.
On this, the referee awarded a penalty stroke to India. After this captain Harmanpreet Singh made the goal score 3-2. In the same minute (45th minute), Gurjant Singh made the score equal to 3-3 by scoring a field goal on the counter attack. The Indian team scored its fourth goal in the 56th minute of the fourth quarter. Akashdeep Singh counter-attacked and scored an excellent field goal and thus Team India became the champion.
Let us tell you that earlier India had won this trophy in 2011, 2016 and 2018. India and Pakistan were joint winners in 2018 as the final was cancelled. Team India has become the champion once again after five years. The Indian team remained invincible in this entire tournament. India defeated Japan 5–0 in the semi-finals, while Malaysia beat South Korea 6–2. India beat Malaysia 5-0 in the round-robin league.
