India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra entered the field in the Asian Games 2023 on Wednesday. Neeraj Chopra has won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw event in the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Another Indian athlete Kishore Kumar Jaina won the silver medal for the country.

But there was a time when Kishore was ahead of Neeraj in this event. After this Neeraj made a comeback and won the gold medal. Neeraj won the gold medal with a throw of 88.88 metres, while Kishore won the silver medal with a throw of 87.54 metres. The bronze medal of this event was won by Dean Roderick Genki of Japan. Pakistan’s Yasir Mohammad stood fourth. Neeraj threw his best throw of this season, while it was Kishore’s personal best throw.

Let us tell you that when Neeraj made his first throw, it was 87 meters, which could not be recorded due to technical difficulties. After which it had to be cancelled. After that the game was stopped for about 15 minutes. Neeraj was also seen talking to the officials for a long time. After that Neeraj threw again which was 82.38 meters which was much less than before. But after that he tried again which was a little better. He threw 84.49 meters.

Chopra threw 84.49 meters in his third attempt, which was not the best performance. In the fourth attempt he threw 88.88 meters. He reached the top again, this was his best of the season.

Whereas Jena threw throws of 81.26, 79.76, 86.77 and 87.54. His fifth and sixth throws were fouls. Dean of Japan Roderick Genki at 82. Won bronze medal with a throw of 68 meters.
