The Indian cricket team has made it to the final of the Asian Games 2023. Team India defeated Bangladesh by 9 wickets in the semi-finals. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 96 runs. In response, India achieved the target by losing one wicket in 9.2 overs. Tilak Verma scored unbeaten 55 runs for Team India. Rituraj Gaikwad scored unbeaten 40 runs. Sai Kishore took 3 wickets. Washington Sundar took 2 wickets. Now the Indian team will play the final match on Saturday.

Tilak Verma scored a stormy half-century

Tilak Verma scored a half-century while batting stormily. Facing 26 balls, he hit 6 sixes and 2 fours. Tilak played an unbeaten inning of 55 runs. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s bat failed to speak today and he was out in the third ball of the first over. After which Tilak Verma started making noise on the field and along with captain Rituraj added 96 runs for the team.

Rituraj played captaincy innings

Captain Ruturaj played an unbeaten inning of 40 runs and helped the team reach the final. The captain’s performance against Nepal in the quarter finals did not look anything special but in the semi-final match on Friday, the captain batted brilliantly and took the team to the finals. India has assured itself of another medal in the Asian Games. It remains to be seen whether India is successful in winning the gold medal in the Asian Games.

Indian bowlers made happy

Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly against Bangladesh and did not allow Bangladesh to score many runs. For India, Ravi Bishnoi, Sai Kishore and Washington Sundar bowled four overs each. Sai Kishore took three wickets for 12 runs in four overs and gave advantage to the team.
