Attack on Mumbai Police to save cyber criminal in Deoghar, Jharkhand, two soldiers injured, vehicle damaged

Madhupur (Devghar): The accused and their family members suddenly attacked the police team of Mumbai and Karon which had gone to catch a cyber criminal in Jaggadih village of Karaun police station area of Deoghar district of Jharkhand. During this time the accused escaped from the police. One soldier of Karoon Police and one soldier of Mumbai Police have been injured in the incident. The vehicle of Karon police station was also damaged by the accused. Apart from this, the private vehicle which was brought by the police of Santa Cruz police station of Mumbai was also damaged. SDPO Sumit Kumar Lakra said that Maharashtra Police had arrived to arrest the cyber criminal. To save the accused, the family members attacked the police team and damaged the vehicles. The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter.
Mumbai Police reached Deoghar on the basis of mobile location
It is said that the police team of Mumbai’s Santa Cruz Cyber Branch reached Karon on Saturday night on the basis of mobile location and with the help of local police conducted a raid in Jaggadih on the basis of location and arrested an accused. Meanwhile, the mob suddenly attacked, injured the jawan, damaged both the vehicles and ran away with the accused. A case has been registered in Karon police station regarding the matter. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused. As soon as information about the incident was received, Madhupur SDPO Sumit Kumar Lakra, Zonal Police Inspector Awadhesh Kumar, Karaun police station in-charge Vikas Paswan etc. reached the spot and investigated the matter.
What is SDPO called?
SDPO Sumit Kumar Lakra said that Maharashtra Police had arrived to arrest the cyber criminal. Karoon police also accompanied them. While arresting the accused, some people attacked the police and damaged their vehicle. A soldier has also been injured in the incident. An FIR has been registered in this regard.
