New Delhi : Audi India is all set to launch the new Q8 e-tron in the country on 18th August. The German luxury car giant has started the booking process for the electric SUV at a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The price of the SUV and the Sportback price of the EV will be revealed on August 18. The upcoming luxury EV is expected to be priced between Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom).
Rivals the BMW ix and the Jaguar I-Pace
The Audi Q8 e-tron is going to be a big launch from the automaker. The automaker will launch the Q8 e-tron electric SUV in India as the successor to its first generation e-tron model. When launched, this car will compete with the BMW ix and Jaguar I-Pace. Mercedes-Benz has already captured its share in the Indian luxury electric car market, while other brands have introduced their products in this segment. Audi is aiming to increase its market share with the new Q8 e-tron.

Talking about the design of the Audi Q8 e-tron, the Audi Q8 e-tron is one of the strong electric cars. Instead of the traditional Audi front grille, the SUV gets a mixture of closed panels and grille with the brand logo. The all-black glossy panel is flanked by sharp matrix LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The side profile looks clean and attractive and only the big wheels grab the attention. Moving to the rear, it gets attractive LED taillights, which are joined by a thin LED strip running through the center of the tailgate.

Inside the cabin of the Audi Q8 e-tron, the EV gets a luxurious look and is feature-rich. Its design includes a stately dashboard with a fully digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system in front of the driver. The center console houses a sleek touch panel.
Specification
Talking about the specifications of the new Audi Q8 e-tron, the car will be available in 50 and 55 trims. The entry-level e-tron 50 gets power from a 95 kWh battery pack, while the top-spec 55 trim gets a bigger 114 kWh battery pack. The top trim offers a range of up to 600 km on a single charge.
Booking starts from 10th August
Audi India has started pre-launch bookings for the Q8 e-tron on Thursday, 10 August 2023. This new SUV of the company can be booked online or through Audi dealership at a token money of Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available in two body styles SUV and Sportback (SUV-coupe). As per media reports, the Q8 e-tron is nothing but a facelifted e-tron with a new name. It gets a completely new grille design with a DRL strip connecting both the headlights.

The Audi Q8 e-tron comes with improved aerodynamics, better charging performance and increased battery capacity. Its range has been increased to 582 km in the SUV. Important changes have been made in the design of the car, especially in the front part. This gives a completely new look to these very important electric cars of the company.
color option
The new Audi Q8 e-tron will be available in nine exterior color options. These include Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Sonera Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beej and Manhattan Grey. In the interiors of the car, the new Q8 e-tron will be offered in three colors – Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige and Black.

The name of the Q8 e-tron comes at the top of the list of electric car models from the IEEE. The Audi Q8 e-tron is the flagship model of the electric SUV and Sportback range. Among the top electric cars, the Q8 e-tron introduces a new corporate identity with a two-dimensional design of four circles. The model name also gets a new look in Audi lettering on the B-pillar.
