Audi India has launched its upcoming electric car Q8 e-tron Booking has started. Buyers can book the car through the official website and at the company’s dealership by paying Rs.5 lakh. The German luxury car maker company is about to launch on August 18 to strengthen its EV portfolio in India. The company recently released the teaser of the car, in which its front and rear looks were unveiled.

Audi India chief Balbir Singh Dhillon recently told a news agency, ‘The Q8 e-tron will be launched simultaneously across the world including India. The Q8 e-tron will be imported as a Complete Build Unit (CBU).
Audi Q8 e-tron three options internationally
Internationally, the Audi Q8 e-tron comes with three options: 50, 55 and the top-spec SQ8. In India, this electric car will come in Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and Sportback body type and will get two trim options 50 and 55 with it.
Car will be charged in 31 minutes with fast charger
Audi claims that both the trims will be offered with a 22KW AC charger, which will fully charge the car in about 9 hours. Apart from this, the option of DC fast charging up to 170KW will also be available. With DC fast charging, the car can be charged up to 10-80% in 31 minutes.
The new Q8 e-tron will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof
Both cars can get great features like panoramic sunroof, optional 4-zone climate control. It will get dual screen with 10.1-inch infotainment system, 16-speaker Bang, Olufsen speaker system, a 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, the company has recalibrated and fine tuned the chassis control system to improve the riding handling of the car.
Expected Price and Rivals
The new Audi Q8 e-tron electric SUV and Sportback will come with a higher price tag than their previous editions. It will compete with the Jaguar I-Pace and BMW IX.
