Australia beat India in 3rd ODI, win series 2-1

Chennai. The last match of the 3-match ODI series between the Indian team and Australia was played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this match, India had to face defeat by 21 runs. Due to this defeat, he has also lost the three-match ODI series by 1-2.

Earlier, Australia set a target of 270 runs to win in front of India by scoring 269 runs in 49 overs with useful support from the tail batsmen in the third and deciding ODI on Wednesday. For India, fast bowler Hardik Pandya and chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets each.

Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. For Australia, every batsman except captain Steve Smith scored runs. Smith was dismissed by Hardik Pandya without opening the account. There was no half-century from Australia but all other batsmen scored runs in double figures.

For Australia, Mitchell Marsh scored the highest 47 runs in 47 balls with the help of eight fours and a six. Alex Carey scored 38 runs with the help of two fours and a six before being bowled by Kuldeep.

Hardik Pandya 3/44 and Kuldeep 3/56 took three wickets each. Mohammad Siraj and Akshar Patel took two wickets each. Ravindra Jadeja gave only 34 runs in 10 overs of tight bowling.

Hardik dismissed Travis Head (33), Smith and Marsh (47). David Warner landed at number four for the first time in ODIs. Warner scored 23 runs in 31 balls. Warner is dismissed by Kuldeep. Kuldeep also took the wickets of Marnus Labushen (28) and Carey.

Axar Patel sent Marcus Stoinis (25) to the pavilion. Akshar also dismissed Shaun Abbott (26). Siraj took the wickets of Ashton Egger and Mitchell Starc. Agar scored 17 and Stark scored 10 runs. Adam Zampa remained unbeaten on 10 runs.
