Another Indian player, Hina Kang, however, played a disappointing card of seven over 80 and missed the cut. In the boys’ category, Varun Muthappa was the only Indian to make the cut with a total of five-over 147 at the Keysborough course. He scored one over of 73 on the second day.
Avni’s play on the second day was full of ups and downs due to which she slipped to joint tenth place. She is currently five strokes behind joint leaders Amelia Harris of Australia and Aina Fujimoto of Japan.
