Berlin. Bayer Leverkusen finally won the Bundesliga title by beating Werder Bremen 5-0 on Sunday, after Bayern Munich had dominated the league for 11 consecutive years.

Leverkusen won their first Bundesliga title with five rounds remaining, following an impressive victory over Werder Bremen at the conclusion of the round of 29.
