With this announcement, there are 11 players who have been included in the central contract by BCCI for the first time. Four players have been promoted. BCCI’s central contract is divided into four grades: A, B, C and D. Apart from these, the board has also recommended 5 players for fast bowling contract. 11 new players including Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rajat Patidar, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Avesh Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Mukesh Kumar and Yashasvi Jaiswal have got a place in the BCCI central contract.

Out of these, there are 10 players who have got place in C grade. Yashasvi Jaiswal is the only player who has got a direct place in B grade. Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan are two such players who have been kept out of the central contract. Yuzvendra Chahal is also out of annual contract. KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav have got promotion in the central contract this year. Rahul, Gill and Siraj have been promoted from B to A grade.
