New Delhi . The matches on the IPL stage are amazing, but along with them many controversies also arise. Once again something similar has happened.

There was a lot of uproar when a former Indian batsman took a picture of himself while commentating during an IPL match and posted it on social media.

Soon after, the former Indian batsman was asked to remove the post by the BCCI staff, reports Indian Express.

Now BCCI has directed commentators, players and teams not to make or upload photos, videos during IPL matches. If there is still any violation of rules then strict action will be taken against him.

Officials also said that some players had recently shared pictures from match days and were instructed to delete these posts.

This report also states that an IPL team had streamed live video of the match, which is a violation of the rules and BCCI had imposed a fine of Rs 9 lakh on it.

The IPL broadcaster has paid thousands of crores of rupees to BCCI for the match telecast rights and hence they have the rights on the photos and videos.
