BCCI released the list of banned brands, their advertisements will not be seen on the clothes of Team India cricketers

BCCI Title Sponsorship , Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited tender applications for the title sponsor of the Indian women’s and men’s cricket teams on Wednesday. BCCI’s contract with ed-tech company BYJU’S expired in the last financial year. it means that Team India At present the title is without sponsor. The BCCI has made Adidas the kit sponsor of the Indian cricketers.
ITT can be bought till June 26
As soon as the BCCI finalizes a new title sponsor, his name will appear on the team jersey. BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in a release that the BCCI invites bids from reputed bodies to acquire the principal sponsoring rights of the national team. The bid document can be purchased at a non-refundable fee of Rs.5 lakh. Last date to buy is 26th June.
Buying ITT does not mean bidding rights
The release further states that any party desirous of submitting a bid is required to purchase ITT. However, only those who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed in the ITT and are subject to other terms and conditions prescribed therein will be eligible to bid. It is clarified that mere purchase of ITT does not entitle a person to bid.
BCCI banned some brands
BCCI also shared the payment details separately for Indian and foreign bodies. There are certain institutions which are banned by the board from applying. BCCI shared a list of brand categories that have been banned from applying for title sponsorship of Indian cricket teams.
