Why BCCI lost its blue tick on X
As per the revised guidelines for social-media websites, the blue tick will be removed for the verified user every time the display picture is changed. And after a quick review of the account on X, it takes three to four days to restore. Incidentally, the gray tick allotted to accounts representing government/multilateral organization or government/multilateral official, was not removed for PM Modi’s account. He also changed his display picture to the Indian flag on Sunday.
Blue tick can be found before Asia Cup
The BCCI is likely to get the blue tick again ahead of the start of the Indian team’s final white-ball assignment ahead of the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. The Hardik Pandya-led side is currently clashing in the fifth and final T20 match against the Windies with an aim to win the historic series. After this, India will play a three-match T20 series against Ireland, where Jasprit Bumrah will lead the team without players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma or Hardik.

“Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan” is a social initiative which was started by the Narendra Modi government at the Center in the year 2022 on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Under this, a request was made to put the national flag tricolor of India on the roof of your house. Under this campaign, people are advised to put the Indian flag at a high place in their homes. It is a way of showing support that we express our devotion and dedication towards our country and our sense of pride towards Indian culture and heritage.
Along with this campaign, an important objective is also that it introduces children to the feeling of patriotism and social responsibility. Small children express their feelings towards the country through flag hoisting and inspire them to become a strong and sensitive citizen. This campaign was started in 2022 and its main goal was that from 15 August to 17 September 2022, the Indian flag should be raised high in all Indian homes. Along with this, people were also encouraged to share pictures of their flag hoisting on social media.
“Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan” proved that Indian people have deep devotion and dedication towards their country and they can decorate their homes with Indian flag as a national symbol. This campaign is an attempt to strongly promote the feeling of patriotism and social responsibility which can play an important role in the upliftment of the Indian society.
