Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Bokaro District Cricket Association (BDCA) has been suspended with immediate effect. JSCA Secretary Devashish Chakraborty has issued a letter in this regard. Accordingly, apart from disbanding the BDCA, a five-member committee has also been formed. Till the next arrangement, the committee will conduct all the activities related to cricket in Bokaro district.
Shailendra Kumar was made the convenor of the 5-member committee
It has been said that the committee which has been constituted to work till further orders, Shailendra Kumar was made the coordinator. Durga Das Jha, JP Dwivedi, Rajesh Ranjan and Sanjay Singh Gandhi have been made members of the committee. The Bokaro association has also been ordered to provide all the records (related to cricket) related to the district to this committee with immediate effect.
The players had accused the Bokaro District Cricket Association
Recently, a case of playing with the future of the youth in the name of cricket came to light in Bokaro. There was an allegation of giving chance to outside players by taking money. A case has also been registered. Many local players had accused the Bokaro District Cricket Association of corruption. It was said that while ignoring the local players, outside players are being given a chance by taking money.

It is notable that the dissolution of the current BDCA committee may affect the ongoing league matches and other matches in Sector-2D, as all activities related to cricket in Bokaro district will now be conducted by a 5-member committee till further orders.
