This was the first time in 17 years that two BCCI officials visited Pakistan. India and Pakistan are currently busy in the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and their next Super 4 match is to be held on Sunday.
India and Pakistan will clash in the World Cup on 14 October
The two greats of cricket will meet again in the much-awaited World Cup match on October 14 in Ahmedabad. But after that, fans will have to wait for some other ICC event or Asia Cup to watch the India-Pakistan match, as both the countries have stopped playing bilateral matches. The last time India visited Pakistan for a bilateral tour was in 2006.

It was a goodwill visit for cricket which went well. “Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Jay Shah is also the BCCI secretary, so keeping that in mind, we did this tour. BCCI has good relations with all the ACC members, so we also visited Sri Lanka.
