border gavaskar trophy, IND vs AUS: Rohit Sharma will sabotage kangaroos like the British… big statement of former Indian coach

India will now host Australia in the much-awaited four-match Test Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023, starting on February 9. Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar feels it will be a big series for the 35-year-old as captain in Test cricket. He said – this is absolutely a big series for Rohit, because whenever he was at his peak, unfortunately injuries ruled him out of many Test matches from 2015 to 2018. Even when he was batting really well in 2018, he had to get out.
Rohit had little success in Test cricket until he started opening for India in October 2019. He played a key role in India leveling the five-match Test series 2-2 against England in 2021. He was one of the few batsmen who managed to score significant runs during England’s tour of India earlier that year.
He said- Rohit has mastered the art of molding himself in every situation as an opener. Against England we saw what a great series they had. He had taken the news of every bowler. Now I am sure he will do the same against the Australian team. He has skill. He can also perform well against swing. He did this in England as well.
