Butler scored a century in his 100th match

In the match, Virat Kohli scored the first century of IPL 2024. During the match, Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 113 runs in 72 balls with the help of 12 fours and four sixes. On behalf of the Rajasthan Royals team that came to chase the target, Jos Buttler also snatched the match from the hands of RCB by scoring an unbeaten century. Butler completed his century by hitting a six in Cameron Green’s over. This century was Butler’s sixth century of IPL. Butler has become the second batsman to score a century in the 100th IPL match. Before Butler, KL Rahul had done this feat. Rahul also played a century in his hundredth match. Let us tell you that in the match, Rajasthan made its victory four by defeating Bengaluru. This was the fourth defeat of the RCB team in IPL 2024.

IPL 2024: Butler equals Gayle

Let us tell you, with scoring a century, Jos Buttler has equaled former player Chris Gayle in terms of scoring the most centuries in the IPL. This was Butler’s sixth century in IPL. Chris Gayle has also scored six centuries in IPL. Whereas KL Rahul has scored four centuries in IPL so far. Apart from this, David Warner and Shane Watson have also scored four centuries each.

IPL 2024: Butler becomes the second batsman to score the most runs for RR

Butler made many records in his name by scoring a century. At the same time, he has become the second batsman to score the most runs for Rajasthan Royals. Earlier this position was occupied by India’s Ajinkya Rahane who is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings. Butler has scored 2831 runs while playing for RR. Whereas Rahane has 1810 runs. Captain Sanju Samson is at number one in this list. Sanju has scored 3389 runs for Rajasthan so far.

IPL 2024: Rahul played his 100th match against Mumbai
