New Delhi . Arjun Mohan, who was made the CEO of edtech firm Byju’s seven months ago, has resigned from the company. The company gave this information on Monday.
After Mohan’s resignation, company co-founder and CEO Byju Raveendran will handle the day-to-day operations of the company.
Raveendran said, “Mohan led the company through challenging times. We are grateful to him.”
The company has now limited its business to The Learning App, online classes and tuition centers and test-prep.
The company said that each of these units will be operated by different people.
According to Raveendran, “This restructuring marks the beginning of Byju’s 3.0.”
The cash-strapped edtech company had promoted Mohan as CEO of its Indian operations in September last year.
