Byju’s India CEO Arjun Mohan resigns: BYJU’S CEO Arjun Mohan has resigned from his post after serving for almost seven months. This news was confirmed by Mohan himself from FE Education. Founder BYJU’S Raveendran will now take responsibility for the daily operations of the edtech company. Mohan will now take on the role of an external advisor, where he will provide his deep edtech expertise to the company and its founders during this transformation phase.
Sources said that after Mohan’s departure, Ravindran will now take control of the day-to-day operations of the Indian business under Think and Learn. Raveendran will return to the helm of daily affairs after almost four years. He can announce internally on the latest changes as per the current plans.

According to PTI, the company statement mentioned that with the implementation of the new organizational setup and BYJU’S Raveendran resuming his role as operations head, BYJU’S is now focusing on its growth driven by innovation. The next phase is ready to begin.

Ravindran’s return is important
Raveendran’s plan to return to the company as operating CEO assumes significance after a group of BYJU’S investors voted to remove him as the company’s chief executive at an extraordinary general meeting in February. The outcome of this EGM is being challenged in the Karnataka High Court and the matter is under an interim stay, meaning the resolutions cannot be implemented.
