Oval: Seeing the bad condition of Team India against Australia in the final of the World Test Championship, former coach Ravi Shastri has asked some sharp questions to the BCCI. Team India’s condition against Australia in the WTC final has been slim. Australia scored 469 batting first in the match. In response, Team India was dismissed after scoring only 296 runs. In this way, the Kangaroo team got a big score of 173 runs in the first innings. And in the second innings also he scored 270 runs. In this way, India got a target of 444 runs to win the match. Meanwhile, seeing the bad condition of Team India in the first innings, the former coach has asked the BCCI whether the country is big or IPL. Shastri questioned the workload management of the players as well as their IPL contracts. Shastri warned the BCCI that they would have to prioritize between the Indian team and the IPL.

During the conversation on Star Sports, Shastri said, ‘You should decide your priority, what is the priority, IPL or Indian cricket? This has to be decided. If franchisees give priority to cricket, then forget big tournaments like WTC.

He said, ‘If BCCI considers competitions like WTC important then it should come forward as a boss. It should be protected. Apart from this, BCCI should bring a rule for IPL that if they keep any player out in the interest of Team India, then they will have full rights.

Please tell that this is not the first time that Ravi Shastri has raised this issue. Even before this, he had said about IPL and workload management that it is a very important thing and attention should be paid to it.
