Devon Conway suffered an injury to his left thumb during the second T20 match against Australia. He has to undergo surgery this week, due to which he will not be able to lift the bat for at least eight weeks.
Due to injury, he had to be ruled out of first T20 against Australia and then also from the Test.
Giving an update on this matter, New Zealand Cricket has said that star opener Devon Conway has been injured and it will take at least eight weeks for him to recover.
According to this latest update, it is clear that Conway will not be able to play in the first half of IPL 2024.
IPL is going to start from March 22 and in the first match, CSK will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chepauk, Chennai.
