Also, posing as fake customer care officers of PhonePe and Paytm, they used to cheat the consumers by creating PhonePe gift cards with the promise of cash back and after getting the details. Apart from this, officials of various banks and credit card companies used to become victims of fraud by posing as fake officials. After registering an FIR against the arrested accused in the cyber police station, the police produced all of them in the court and sent them to jail on the instructions of the court.
