Davis Cup 2023: Djokovic, Murray, Sinner ready for last-8 match in Spain

Málaga (Spain). Record 24-time Grand Slam winner and current world No. 1 Novak Djokovic will return to action as he aims to lead Serbia to a second Davis Cup title. The Davis Cup final will be played this week in Málaga, Spain, where eight teams will compete.

Djokovic will face a tough test from Andy Murray-led Great Britain in the quarterfinals of the 2023 edition of the Davis Cup, known as the World Cup of tennis, which will be played from November 21.

Sony Sports Network said on Monday that the tournament is going to be exciting. In which defending champions Canada along with Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Czechia, Australia, Serbia and Great Britain will join the last 8 in Málaga.

Apart from Djokovic and Murray, Jannik Sinner will also be in action at the crucial stage of the tournament for their respective countries.

Interestingly, Djokovic had defeated Sinner in the Nitto ATP Finals on Sunday. The Serbian legend, who has already won three Grand Slams this year, will be looking to end the season on a high note.

Apart from this, the 2023 tennis calendar is at its final stage. The stakes for the Davis Cup are as high as ever and fans can expect some fascinating battles on the court.
