The 29-year-old boxer from Maputo wants to win a medal at the world championships in 2024 and later the Paris Olympics as a gift to her father to legitimize her birth.
Santos was a professional footballer during his playing days. Was part of several big teams in the main football league of Mozambique. During this time he became close to Alkinda’s mother. Being the only child, he had to take care of his mother. I stopped training but things changed mainly with the support of Gabriel Junior, the president of our national federation. He brought me back to the boxing ring which helped me become financially strong.
