London: Known as the Mecca of cricket, Lord’s, the iconic Oval and fast bowler-friendly Headingley are among the five venues where the Indian cricket team will play Test matches in the 2025 tour. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) made this announcement on Wednesday. The ECB announced its men’s and women’s team domestic calendars for the seven-year cycle between 2025–2031. India and England have been playing five matches in a Test series since 2014. The exception to this was England’s 2020–21 tour of India which was reduced by one Test to accommodate a limited-overs series. The series was postponed due to the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. India last won an away Test series against England in 2007, almost 16 years ago.
