Indian cricket is very fortunate to have so much talent and I really enjoy playing in India mainly because they have got great players and they are all great people.

Question – Any particular player whose batting style you are fascinated by or want to learn something from, current generation or previous generation?

Darrell Mitchell- I think as a player you learn all kinds of all different players in Indian cricket you have Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul I can name all players so they are all world class players And I enjoy playing against them.

Question- I’m surprised… you didn’t mention Surya Kumar Yadav, who is being seen as the hottest white ball player in the current era?

Darrell Mitchell- (Laughs) Oh yes, he is a very special player and I think he will definitely continue to bat the way he has played then. The fun of watching his batting live is different. He is a very good player. Most recently, on the tour of New Zealand, he scored a tremendous half-century in a T20 match against us.

Question – Any Indian bowler whom you cannot help but admire when you face him?

Darrell Mitchell – I think the pace attack of the Indian team is very efficient. Indian bowlers are very good at executing yorkers and they become more dangerous when the ball starts reverse swinging as well.
