General Secretary of Kota Wushu Association Ashok Gotam told that Yashita has represented Rajasthan thrice in the national competition. Yashita was selected for the Asian Championship on the basis of the trials held two months back in Meerut. This is the first international competition for Yashita. With this, she became the second female player from Kota to participate in the International Junior Wushu.
Prior to Yashita, Kota’s daughter Divyanshi had represented India in the World Championship held in Indonesia in January. Yashita’s father Kailash Kumawat, who lives on Balita Road, runs a small general store. Mother Nandani is a housewife. Please tell that Yashita practices daily for about 5 hours in the morning and evening. She comes from a poor family. His father runs a small general store shop. There is an elder brother in the family. This is the biggest achievement of Yashita, who is studying in class 12th. Till now she has played National 3 times.
He had won a bronze medal in the Nationals last year. Two months ago in Meerut, Yashita’s first position came in the trial of the junior team, due to which she was 11th. Players were selected for the Junior Asian Championship.
