FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier: Indian women’s hockey team preparing for victory

Ranchi To be held from 13th Januaryfih hockey olympic qualifier is being organised. On Thursday, an MOU was signed between the Jharkhand government and Hockey India regarding this competition. A check of Rs 5 crore was handed over to Hockey India by the Jharkhand government. Sports Secretary Manoj Kumar and Director Sushant Gaurav and Hockey India General Secretary Bholanath Singh were present as representatives of Jharkhand Government. Apart from these, Hockey India Treasurer J Manoharan and members of the Indian women’s hockey team were present.
Eight teams of the world have a chance to reach the Olympics
Hockey India General Secretary Bholanath Singh thanked HIF for organizing this event. At the same time, he said that eight teams of the world will sacrifice their lives to reach the Olympics. This tournament was earlier to be held in China, but after the successful organization of Asian Champions Trophy, FIH President Tayyab Ikram decided to hold it here. Here the top three teams will get a chance to go to the Olympics. Sports Secretary Manoj Kumar said that he is proud to be associated with Hockey Olympic Qualifier Ranchi. No stone will be left unturned to make this event a success.
